Bannon threatened to quit if removed from National Security Council role
Chief White House strategist Stephen Bannon was unhappy with the decision to remove him from his role on the National Security Council and threatened to quit, according to a new report.
The New York Times reported Wednesday evening that Bannon “resisted the move” and threatened to resign if the change was made. But the Times said his team has denied that he ever made such a threat.

Looks like Steve Bannon and Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, have been in a fuss with eachother from the start. Something had to give. Can't remove the son-in-law from the 'family business'.

Breitbart publishes multiple anti-Kushner stories in the wake of Steve Bannon’s NSC ouster
Breitbart News typically hasn’t focused much on Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner — but that might be changing in the wake of ex-Breitbart boss Steve Bannon’s ouster from the National Security Council.
As Media Matters notes, Breitbart published four negative stories about Kushner on the same day that news broke that Bannon was out at the NSC.
Yea, steve, let's see how that works out for you,,,,

Bannon is really being foolish.
Kushner is Trump's son in law.
Why would you fight with the one guy that you know will still be there on the last day of the Trump administration?
Lust for power does strange things.
