White House Proposes Immediate Cuts To Pell Grants, HIV Research, Food Assistance
OAKLAND (CBS SF) — The Trump Administration isn’t waiting until 2018 to try to slash federal spending that it has deemed unnecessary.
The White House is proposing an immediate $18 billion in cuts to government programs that promote education, scientific research, health, job training and diplomacy, programs already approved for 2017.
We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

Well, if you're going sink wads of dough into military adventures and stuff along with more tax breaks to the top 2%, you gotta find the cash somewhere, so something has got to go. Cutting funding for education, scientific research, healthcare, job training, and diplomacy is one way to accomplish the goal of making America great again, I guess.

Many of these things will NEVER make it through Congress, especially the Senate.
