Sooooooo,

So, when Rep Devin Nunes rushed over to the White House (And gave two press conferences) to brief the President about his dramatic "find" about surveillance, the source of his information was,,,,,,wait for it,,,,,,, the White House?

Well, isn't that special.
Nunes made a huge deal about  "briefing" the President about information that the President already had, and had most likely fed to Nunes through two aides.

It was an obvious mission to distract attention from Lyin' Donald's tweets about President Obama

BTW. I bet that the republicans won't be interested in prosecuting these two "leakers".

What a shitshow.
Lock him up!

Two  White House Officials Helped Give Nunes Intelligence Reports

WASHINGTON — A pair of White House officials played a role in providing Representative Devin Nunes of California, the Republican chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, with the intelligence reports that showed President Trump and his associates were incidentally swept up in foreign surveillance by American spy agencies.

The revelation that White House officials assisted in the disclosure of the intelligence reports — which Mr. Nunes then discussed with President Trump — is likely to fuel criticism that the intelligence chairman has been too eager to do the bidding of the Trump administration while his committee is supposed to be conducting an independent investigation of Russia’s meddling in the last presidential election.

Several current American officials identified the White House officials as Ezra Cohen-Watnick, the senior director for intelligence at the National Security Council, and Michael Ellis, a lawyer who works on national security issues at the White House Counsel’s Office and formerly worked on the staff of the House Intelligence Committee.

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

I'm not sayin'. I'm just sayin'

From March 14:

Trump steps in to keep 30-year-old NSC aide

Bannon and Kushner prevail on the president to override his national security adviser and keep a Flynn
protégé.

President Donald Trump has overruled a decision by his national security adviser, Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster, to sideline a key intelligence operative who fell out of favor with some at the Central Intelligence Agency, two sources told POLITICO.

On Friday, McMaster told the National Security Council’s senior director for intelligence programs, Ezra Cohen-Watnick, that he would be moved to another position in the organization.
,,,,,,,,,
But Cohen-Watnick appealed McMaster’s decision to two influential allies with whom he had forged a relationship while working on Trump’s transition team — White House advisers Steve Bannon and Jared Kushner. They brought the matter to Trump on Sunday, and the president agreed that Cohen-Watnick should remain as the NSC’s intelligence director, according to two people with knowledge of the episode.
