Poll: Trump less trusted than TV news outlets
President Trump is less trusted than several major television news outlets, according to a new poll.
A Monmouth University survey found that Trump is less trusted than ABC News, Fox News and MSNBC.
Slightly more than one-quarter of respondents said they were more likely to trust Trump over ABC News, compared with 53 percent who said they would trust ABC News more.
When compared with MSNBC, 33 percent said they are more likely to trust Trump while 47 percent said they are more likely to trust MSNBC.
Only 17 percent of respondents said they were more likely to trust the president when compared with Fox News. Thirty-seven percent said they were more likely to trust Fox News.
There is a split among partisan lines, with Republicans more likely to trust Trump instead of the media.
Out of the three networks tested, ABC News is more trusted than Fox or MSNBC, according to the poll.
