Medieval potion kills MRSA superbug

Would this not be a remarkable re-discovery ?

Again, perhaps "what is old is new again" !

Re: Medieval potion kills MRSA superbug

Thanks for sharing this. I find it quite interesting. Growing up in a family with Pennsylvania Dutch influence, we used onions to combat the Flu virus. When winter would come, my grandparents and parents would slice  onions in half and place them on the windowsills all around the house. It was believed that the onions would absob the virus and kill it. When I got older I dismissed this as an old wive's tale but in recent years we have had a barrage of information indicating that the onion does have some anti viral and healing qualities. Did anyone else have a family that used sliced onions to combat the Flu?
