Yemen Raid Had Secret Target: Al Qaeda Leader Qassim Al-Rimi
It appears that Al-Rimi was neither killed or captured during the raid.
The White House — which had declared the raid "a successful operation by all standards" — had no comment Monday on his escape from death. The Pentagon also declined to comment

Has EITHER the WH or Pentagon actually fessed up yet as to the real target and/or their reasoning of why he eluded them ?

More dangerous language in an attempt to silence all critics of this administration.
We are in a perilous place
Spicer says McCain owes apology to dead Navy SEAL over criticism of mission
Sean Spicer, the White House press secretary, Wednesday defended the deadly commando raid in Yemen last month, labeling the mission a success and saying anyone who sees it otherwise owes the Navy SEAL killed during the raid an apology.
Spicer was asked by a reporter-- who mentioned Sen. John McCain’s earlier comments about the raid—and Spicer said, “Anyone who undermines the success of that raid owes an apology and [does] a disservice.”
Spicer never mentioned McCain by name.

With the current Trump rhetoric it is once again obvious that Trump cannot fail, he can only be failed.

Trump passes blame for Yemen raid to his generals: ‘They lost Ryan’
Weeks after a U.S. Navy SEAL was killed in a covert mission in Yemen, Trump has resisted accepting responsibility for authorizing the mission and the subsequent death of Senior Chief Petty Officer William “Ryan” Owens.
In an interview with Fox News that aired Tuesday morning, Trump said the mission “was started before I got here.”
He noted that the operation was something his generals “were looking at for a long time doing.”
“This was something that was, you know, just — they wanted to do,” Trump said. “ And they came to see me and they explained what they wanted to do, the generals, who are very respected.”
“And they lost Ryan,” Trump continued.
Disgusting. That man is unfit for the office.
We used to have Men.
This guy is a F-ing disgrace.

For failing him, he should order that the generals that disapppointed him be executed using anti-aircraft guns.
Seems to be a new trend with narcissistic authoritarian leaders that can do no wrong.

I don't think he understands that HE is Commander-in-Chief !
Harry Truman understood it. He had a sign with the phrase "the Buck Stops Here".. Of course Truman was a heroic soldier and understood the concept. Trump is more about assigning blame.

Exactly.
Mr. Trump,
I don't want to hear that the generals really wanted to do it.
I don't want to hear that it was largely planned during the last administration.
I don't want to hear that you were only President for two weeks, or two hours.
YOU are the commander in chief. The awesome power, and the awful responsibility are yours.
Man up.
