You guys love to pick out one word in an entire post and try to make that the topic. Here's some related info.
The reason for stiffening the vetting process.US Intel: ISIS May Have Passport Printing Machine, Blank Passports
So, enlighten me Tim as to exactly what 'extreme vetting' entails. What questions, sources, interview methods, U.S. Embassy/consulate procedures should be changed to ensure 100% compliance with 'I love America' will be the only foreigners that will be granted visas?
Also, do you have a passport? Have you ever traveled abroad and experienced any kind of 'vetting' to obtain a visa that allows you to enter a foreign nation? What is your level of personal experience in this realm?
Sounds like you are trying to extreme vet Tim? What's up with that? He is a US citizen!

Just trying to get beyond the usual crap and actually try to have a discussion.
Are US citizens exempt from questions on a discussion board?
Please explain, because this makes no sense.

Based on several of his posts, his inability to definitively answer queries about his stated positions, combative nature, and occasional personal attacks, I'm really not sure of his nationality.
Sound familiar, Common? By the way, what are the last 4 countries you traveled to?

Excellent question, Ron.
Well, common?
And, can either you or Tim answer the question and tell us what extreme vetting is?

Here's a clue, IMO Trump likes to exaggerate. So when he says there were millions of illegals voting or crime is up the highest in 47 years, we know he's exaggerating and don't take it literal. You might call that lying, but we know a lie from exaggeration and until he comes up with a lie similar to 'our people were killed because of a anti-Muslim video' we aren't going to get worked up over it. With the data we have, it's only prudent that we take precautions to do what we can to keep those who wish us harm from coming here. To do anything less would be to show a disregard for the safety of your fellow American's.
BTW, I have a passport, never had to get a visa.

Let me guess, millions voted illegally and I will release my taxes are exaggerations, but you can keep your doctor is a lie. The distinction is not based upon truth, but ideological loyalty.
So, when Trump tells you that the murder rate is at a 47 year high, and it clearly isn't, you don't consider that a lie, because of partisanship?
That's not something to be proud of.
Let's put our cards on the table. You don't care if trump lies, because you have the same world view. I think that he really could shoot someone on 5th avenue and you wouldn't care.

And that is my biggest concern with Trump.
I get that during a campaign it's all about exaggerating your strengths and plans and your opponents weaknesses and plans. Every politician in the history of the world has done this.
But he's now the President. It's his duty to not just show his countrymen, but the world stability, thoughtfulness, and rational, measured actions.
Our strategic allies, economic markets, and our enemies hang onto and parse every word a U.S. President says. I don't think Trump realizes this yet. And that is, well, not good.
And by the way, because Trump doesn't understand the full power of the presidency, this is why I think he will be famously weak president instead of some sort of notorious strongman that so many fear.
