Well, a fascist leader needs an epidemic of crime (Even if it's phony) to help justify more power being transferred to his hands.
He needs you to be afraid,,,,,, and to think that he's the only one who can save you.
Obsession with Crime and Punishment
Under fascist regimes, the police are given almost limitless power to enforce laws. The people are often willing to overlook police abuses and even forego civil liberties in the name of patriotism. There is often a national police force with virtually unlimited power in fascist nations.

A Democracy relies on fettering out the real facts. This Administration has show the dark side of messaging. Will the ones who supported this wake up too late to that fact or don't they care ??. Let's hope it is really NOT the latter.
