Two Syrian Christian Families Turned Away in Philly

Valid visas in hand.

(CNN)Two brothers, their wives and children left war-torn Syria with 16 suitcases and crossed the border into Lebanon. They were finally on their way to the United States after working for almost 15 years to join their family members stateside.

But after a flight from Beirut to Doha, Qatar, and then to Philadelphia on Saturday, the two families were told to get on a flight back to Doha. It was because President Donald Trump had just signed an executive order denying citizens from seven countries, including Syria, entry into the United States.

The Assalis are Orthodox Christians, one of the most persecuted groups in Syria.

Is this a true story or more fake news from the times?

“We hold these truths to be self-evident,”  former vice president Biden said during a campaign event in Texas on Monday. "All men and women created by — you know, you know, the thing.”

It's a true story.
Not like the propaganda you watch on Fox.
You need to develop the courage that will enable you to look at things that you may not want to see, instead of squealing "Fake news" like a fool everytime your worldview is challenged.

You would be a better person for it.
Consider growth. Spiritual and intellectual growth.

Re: Two Syrian Christian Families Turned Away in Philly

They were coming to their families in Pennsylvania.

At least our Governor had the guts to try to get them to be able to stay.

This EO is a disaster !

You know, your smug, arrogant, condescending post is not conducive to
starting a conversation about anything. It shuts down a conversation!
