Re: Lawmakers Urge President Trump to Shield States from Federal Real ID

People write off the travel ban as a minor inconvenience to keep us safe.
Can you folks in PA endure a minor inconvenience to keep us safe?

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

Re: Lawmakers Urge President Trump to Shield States from Federal Real ID

If the $11 billion over 5 years number is to be believed, that's a little under 10% of the PA budget for half a decade to implement. Not a minor inconvenience.

Remember PA Driver's License Centers? They're not any better these days. And we're going to send the entire populace of the commonwealth to the centers? Not a minor inconvenience.

And at the end of the, I don't really see REAL ID making us safer. Just another unfunded mandate.

I think you're going to see a lot of different United States of America over the next three, four, or eight years. - President Donald J. Trump

"I'm against the federal government sticking their fingers into our licensing process and think Real ID should be dropped."

I agree with Lagers statements!

“We hold these truths to be self-evident,”  former vice president Biden said during a campaign event in Texas on Monday. "All men and women created by — you know, you know, the thing.”

Other states manage to comply.
