I've been watching Trump sign Executive Orders, one after another, and noted that some of them are merely for show.
For instance, Trump signed an EO commanding the Pentagon to come up with a plan in thirty days to defeat ISIS.
Hey, couldn't he just tell the Sec Def to do that in a phone call?
I get the Idea that he thinks that the job amounts to just signing papers and waving them at the camera.
The President needs to develop a working relationship with congress. I mean, doesn't a budget, a defense buildup, an infrastructure plan, etc, all arise from legislation which Congress passes and he signs?
I'm waiting for an EO commanding that all weekends be sunny, and that bottles of Prosecco will, from this day forward, fly out of my dog's butt.
