There Have Been No Fatal Terror Attacks In The U.S. By Immigrants From The 7 Banned Muslim Countries
There have been zero fatal terror attacks on U.S. soil since 1975 by immigrants from the seven Muslim-majority countries President Donald Trump targeted with immigration bans on Friday, further highlighting the needlessness and cruelty of the president’s executive order.
Between 1975 and 2015, foreign nationals from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen killed exactly zero Americans on U.S. soil, according to an analysis of terror attacks by the Cato Institute.
Moreover, a report released this week shows that Muslim Americans with family backgrounds in those seven countries have killed no Americans over the last 15 years.
Twenty-three percent of the Muslim Americans involved with violent extremist plots since Sept. 11, 2001, had family backgrounds in Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria or Yemen, according to a Triangle Center on Terrorism and Homeland Security report released this week. None of those plots resulted in American deaths.
Similarly, none of the 19 plane hijackers on 9/11 were from any of those seven countries.

Since Trump's Executive Order mentions 9/11 three times, this is pertinent.
Speaking of 9/11, neither Saudi Arabia nor Egypt are on the banned list.
Is there, by chance, a Trump property in either of those countries?

Rachel Maddow reported on this on her show one night last week so this isn't new news.

True. But we have to get the word out beyond Rachel's audience.

So far his Executive Orders really DO NOTHING other than let his sucker voters cheer in approval.

Ah, so you think they should be added to the list? I think your one cohort wouldn't be pleased with any negative action taken against SA. Personally, I consider them loathsome and wish our government wasn't so friendly toward them.
Just because your sources say there have not been any terrorist attack from immigrants from those countries yet, doesn't mean it can't happen.
So, we haven't had any terror attacks from Iraqis? So I guess it was OK when Obama had a six month total ban on immigration from Iraq? If nothing else, this EO will at least review the vetting process and make sure we are doing everything possible to safeguard the American people. The ban is for 4 months, then goes back to the way it was in 2015 except for Syria who will have the same six month ban that Obama imposed on Iraq. I see no reason for the meltdown of so many people.

Who's my 'Cohort'?
BTW, the article you linked has nothing to do with the topic.
Imagine my surprise

You are so lame. You say we don't need to ban immigration and review our vetting process, yet that link says terrorists are trying to get in as refugees. I guess in your safe zone, you don't have to worry about being wrong, but who cares if someone else gets killed right?

Hey, call me names, suggest that I don't care if people are killed. Doesn't phase me.
I just consider the source.
The fact remains that the article that you linked, which discusses Algerians in Germany does not address the topic of the thread, which is about the United States, the 7 states bannned (which BTW do NOT include Algeria), and the Saudis. I realize that you hate Muslims, but your link simply does not address the topic.
If you aren't intelligent enough to see that, well I guess you will just have resort to personal attack.
It seems to be all that you are capable of.

Tim, I think the point is this whole EO wasn't thought out very well, and it's time to tell the current administration to pump the brakes. Many members of his own tribe are concerned as well.
The fact that Saudi Arabia and Egypt weren't on the list seems odd considering none of the other countries mentioned had anything to do with the 9/11 attack, but the majority of the 9/11 attackers were Saudis.
