For Common and Tim: The rioters were simply that ........ rioters. Not liberals, progressives, conservatives, Republicans, or Democrats. They are anarchists. Period.
And, while I'm at it, I don't consider Donald Trump to belong to any political party. Sure he's wearing the R-Tribe team jersey, but as far as I can tell, he's an authoritarian with a thin-skinned, self-serving, narcissistic personality disorder. You can hitch a ride on his star if you wish, and that's your choice as an American citizen living in a free society, but he's not a Republican.
This is my opinion, and I know for sure there are many Republicans who agree with me.

Fox News downplays Women's March on Washington
,,,,,,,,,,
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
On Fox. Jennifer Griffin reported from the scene and did lead with live coverage a few times in the afternoon — playing big Madonna’s use of profanity from the stage and her statement that she had thought about blowing up the White House — but it was a far cry from minute-by-minute analysis of a huge news event.
Focusing exclusively on Washington, Fox cameras did occasionally pull back to show the crowd, but there were inevitably the signature touches — Shannon Bream questioned whether the crowd estimates were accurate, and Bill Hemmer wondered whether it meant that liberals “refuse to accept reality.”
Even when, later in the afternoon, Geraldo Rivera acknowledged “the tsunami” of protesters, his colleague Greg Gutfeld had his talking points at the ready. “The reason you get big marches in cities is that’s where the left lives,” he said.
Overlooked was that thousands had traveled to Washington to participate in the march, just as thousands of others had come to see Trump sworn in.

People sure get hung up on their labels, don't they. Greg Gutfield never considered that people marching Saturday were from nearly every crook and cranny of the country, bussing to the cities which are full of Republicans, Democrats, Independents and others.

IF Trump EVER showed remorse or apologized directly to the people and groups he so often offended by his numerous remarks these would have been non-events.
He never will and I hope they also never will let him or the world forget !
