Looking at the words used for the first time in an inauguration speech by any president, it's hard to have walked away from it feeling particularly uplifted.

Trump's speech WAS dark as it portrayed the current status of America.
Guess some believe that. Not me.
IF he can fix some things and move us even more on a upward path - GREAT, BUT, we are ALREADY GREAT.
Can and will Trump bring many manufacturing jobs back to the US ? Time will tell. IF he does and those jobs are not just primarily from automation (which is hard to imagine) then that will be good. There ARE unintended consequences of all of this happening and some are NOT good for the US consumer. Tricky times - how to balance business growth, automation, and workers jobs.
We as a nation have been innovative and the tech industry has led a lot of that.
Funny how different groups heard Trump's inauguration speech. Guess it is all in perspective and what you want to hear.

Nasty media.
They read what trump tweets, listen to what he says,,,,,, and report it!
Better to just quote from the ministry of propaganda.
BTW, I watched the speech. It really was very dark
I would like to see the trumpers actually defend their guy, rather than just attack the critics

We should not blame Donald Trump for the things he says and does. In his own words, "That's not fair". If the media reports what he says and does, it must reflect a liberal bias. If you want the real story or alternative facts you read Breitbart News or listen to Sean Hannity. There's no bias there, just fair and balanced reporting ............. their motto: "We Distort, you Decide."
People are saying that anyway.
