"Alternative Facts"
This morning Trump's minister of propaganda, Kellyanne Conway invented a new term.
When Chuck Todd asked her for her reaction to the new press secretary saying several obviously untrue things yesterday, Conway pushed back.
Spicer, she maintained didn't utter untrue things. He merely presented alternative facts.
Funny. I thought that something was a fact, or it was not.
She's just rebranded lying.
These guys write Orwell better than he did.

Yes, I watched Kellyanne trying to dodge, pivot, deflect, and cover for Spicer's ridiculous (I agree with Chuck Todd on this characterization) comments and petty assertions by the Inner Party's Ministry of Truth concerning inaugural crowd size (why is this such a problem for the Trump folks?) and the juvenile arguments with the media. Welcome to Oceania and their world of Newspeak. Hopefully the Proles will see through this Doublethink babble promulgated by the administration's propagandists and see the truth despite their smoke screens.
It's going to be an interesting 4 years.

It's nice to see the media finally developed backbone on this. I've noticed that the New York Times now simply states that something Trump said was false when it's false.
So instead of debating about whether us is really up they simply note that it was false and Move on.

Watched the exchange between Todd and Conway on tv and it was about as ridiculous an argument as ever. She had nothing to stand on and was repeatedly asked by Todd and repeatedly avoided the question. She's masterful at using non-stop avoidance as her way to close down any discussion.

A pretty sad start for team Trump.
Conway channels George Orwell.
Spicer decides to lie boldly and angrily.
Trump stands before a wall honoring martyrs and alternates between preening and whining.
Trump diss's, then belatedly acknowledges the women's march.
Team Trump re-writes the past on crowd estimates.
Trump brags about ratings, and manages to do it dishonestly.
Trump breaks his promise to release his taxes,,,,,,,,,
And it's only been about three days!
