Trump cuts a HUD rule helping The Little Guy get a mortgage.

That rule was idiotic in the first place. People who are required to pay Mortgage Insurance are the people who should not be given mortgages, because they cannot afford it. That was a big reason for the real estate bubble and subsequent burst a decade ago. That needed to end.

Yep, we will see MORE of this "helping the little guy"

Sorry, but mortgage insurance played no part in creating the real estate bubble.
Millions have gotten mortgages with mortgage insurance over the years and been completely responsible home owners

People being given mortgages that they could not afford, who are the people that pay mortgage insurance, was indeed a big reason for the real estate bubble and collapse.

I'm afraid that you are incorrect. Mortgage insurance was not the problem, and no one with any knowledge of recent history is suggestion that this program would lead to another crisis.
I would recommend that you do some reading on the housing bubble, collateralized mortgage securities and the like, but I realize that you would never take that step.
Why don't we just jump to the part where you call me names and post emoticons.

I've done plenty of reading on the subject, and I am indeed correct. I'd like you to show me proof that I'm wrong.

That's easy. It doesn't even require any heavy reading.
Simply go to Wikipedia (which is very good as it writes on the common man's level) and look up 'Housing bubble', 'subprime crisis', and "collateralized mortgage securities'. Read and get back to us.
Pray, could you cite some examples of your plenty of reading on the subject?
Thanks

Lol! Wikipedia! Wow!
Tell me, the people given subprime mortgages, did they take on a subprime mortgage because they were able to afford the home they were buying?

That's what I figured. You read nothing, and you have nothing to contribute on the subject.
