    Obama approval hits 60%

    I liked the line that someone said "Guess I don't look so bad to you now".

    We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

    Obama's final poll number reflects I think a natural instinct to romanticize the past. 

    Remember this.......



    And ol' GWB left office with some of the lowest approval ratings of any president with perhaps the exception of Nixon.

    Presidents are hated when in office and in many cases beloved, or at least viewed more favorably upon leaving office. Approval ratings are nice little snapshots in time, but provide little value outside of political gamesmanship.

    In this case people seem to be romanticizing the present !

    We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.
