Bob Woodward: ‘Russian Dossier’ on Trump a ‘Garbage Document’
Woodward: by briefing on basis of dossier, intel chiefs made a ‘mistake’ and should ‘apologize’
When it comes to experience in evaluating the quality of leaked allegations, it’s hard to beat Bob Woodward of Watergate/Deep Throat fame.
So attention must be paid to what Woodward said on today’s Fox News Sunday about the so-called Russia dossier on Donald Trump. Woodward called it a “garbage document.” For good measure, Woodward said the intelligence chiefs made a “mistake” in briefing on the basis of the dossier, and should “apologize.”

I don't know if Donald Trump was compromised by being filmed with Russian hookers.
Nobody knows.
But, a lot of people are saying,,,,,,,
People are wondering,,,,,,,,,
Can anybody prove that he wasn't?
We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

I won't dispute Woodward's opinion on the dossier. I think reasonable people can disagree on whether that unverified information should have been shared with the public.
But I will say this about Woodward. He doesn't really do gumshoe reporting the way he did during the Nixon years. Quite the opposite, his last 16 or so years has been spent writing books about presidential administrations. And I think in all of those books he was given direct access to GWB and Barack Obama.
What I am saying is that he needs to be in the good graces of a Trump administration if he wants the inside look he got with Bush and Obama.
So I will take his thoughts on the dossier with a grain of salt.

Agree, he has transitioned from investigative reporter to acting as "stenographer to the rich and powerful." as one journalist declared.

If they could just find those "Investigators" that Trump sent to Hawaii, I'm sure that they could clear this thing up.

Does anybody find it impossible that Donald trump would collude with a foreign power to get ahead?
