Just a Hilarious thread!
"We are less than one month from inauguration day, and it looks like the Donald Trump revolution is already almost over."
More nonsense from the good old anti-Trump folks! To watch them meltdown and squirm every direction.
This is wrong and that is wrong. What about this and what about that? Oh my Trump is such a mean guy.
Just one more thread of nothing. Absolutely nothing!!
A fixation about Trump that does not seem very healthy.

I've noticed that you often respond to what you find disagreeable with ridicule and mocking.
People are "melting down", "Delusional", "hysterical".
These labels are disrespectful, and more importantly, are poor substitutes for reasoned argument.
Is it so hard to defend what your guy does that you have to resort to this?
And, an internet discussion board is about discussion. Please don't insult our intelligence by suggesting that talking about the incoming president is abnormal, or some sort of sign of an unhealthy "fixation".
The fact remains, Trump has retreated from nearly all of his "revolutionary" promises, and it looks like it's going to be a very, well, establishment administration.
That must come as quite a disappointment. And, Today must be an exceptionally sad day for the Trumpers.
The claim of hilarity rings hollow.

I predict there WILL be a Trump Revolution, but not the kind some are thinking.

You mean those promises Democrats were so critical of? He has softened his tone on his more extreme sound bites, but he can't be breaking promises until he actually takes office. He has already stopped Republicans from gutting the ethics committee and has persuaded several companies to keep jobs in this country. He's already accomplished more than any president elect I can remember since maybe Reagan. BTW, what the heck is "The claim of hilarity rings hollow." suppose to mean?

Tim, you seem to be claiming that Trump can't be judged because he hasn't done anything yet, while at the same time saying that he's done more than any President elect in your memory. Well, which is it?
It cannot be both.
BTW it matters not if the democrats were critical of his promises.
The issue is that he backed away from them.
This makes the question valid, is the trump revolution already over?
I think so.
You poor souls have been had.

Stopped Republicans from gutting the ethics committee? Hell no. It was the outcry from the public calling their members of Congress is why they chickened out. Trump took credit but it's just another one of his lies to extend that overbearing ego of his.

flowergirl, if he ran into a burning building and saved a baby, you wouldn't give him credit. Goose, you are comparing apples and oranges. I said he can't be held responsible for promises he made until he gets into office, how can you judge him on that until then? That doesn't mean he is beyond criticism for anything he does and the reason there was a public outcry is because Trump called them out on it. Can you guys give him any breaks at all? One one tiny little piece of credit for anything? Trump supporters have not been had Goose as long as Clinton isn't president. Blame the democrats and the DNC for forcing such a defective candidate on the electorate. With that kind of choice many felt Trump was the only option.

I will give trump credit when it is due.
Let's flip the coin over. Could you, Tim, ever bring yourself to criticize Trump about anything?

As stated before the man (?) is a proverbial liar, racist, misogynist, bully and worse. Why should this maniac receive any credit for good he has not done, why should he ever be believed about anything he's said and has to have flunkies to explain his tweets and actions. You are right Tim!

I already did on another website, in a forum where only those on the right can post. I criticized his decision to fire all ambassadors and have them vacate before he takes office. For that I was blasted by the regular members of that forum. Afterwards I learned that Obama did the same thing.
For the record, I don't particularity like Trump as a person. I despise celebrity worship and do not like egotistic, arrogant, blowhards. But I support the platform Trump campaigned on. If Cruz wasn't an open borders type guy, I would have supported him.
