You could speculate anything that you want.
As for an economic collapse,,,,,, what evidence have you seen that makes you think that it is a realistic scenario?

Housing loans. Banks are still loaning anyone with a pulse a lot more money than they can realistically afford to buy a house. It is the same as if was before the housing bubble burst, nothing has changed. They can't keep doing the same thing and expect a different result.

Could you offer some supporting data?
Thanks

Google it.  There are hundreds of sources.

I thought so.

Re: Things That Didn't Happen

No need to get testy.
I just wanted to know if you could support your statement that "anybody with a pulse" can get a mortgage. And now I know how seriously to take the statement.

Re: Things That Didn't Happen

I don't expect you to take my statements seriously, your're not very intellectual in your comprehension or arguing.

Just watch and see what happens. Then you'll know.

Re: Things That Didn't Happen

I know a bullsh*tter when I see one, el Hombre!

A question for the thoughtful folks in the room:
Was not the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau created by Dodd-Frank in 2010?
And was not part of their mandate to place restrictions on subprime mortgages, and to protect us from another collapse?

And, that same regulatory body is in the crosshairs for elimination by the new Congress.

Yea, maybe we should reject the obvious pivot and return to the topic of the thread.
Those predicted things did not happen.
Just the opposite, in fact.

Re: Things That Didn't Happen

There doesn't seem to be much interest from the right and reviewing these predictions,,,,,,,
