What does 'get over it' mean? It means pull your little girl panties out of your crack and give the President-elect a chance.  There's been more bitching and moaning about what this President elect has 'done' before he even takes office and done anything, than there ever has before.  Give Trump a chance, maybe he'll be good? No need to condemn him before he's done anything.

That was unbelievable in it's stupidly

So no signs of intelligence from the village peanut gallery?  Exactly what we all expected.

I don't even know what that childish post means.
Try again

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

I didn't think you would.

Perhaps if you could write better

Let's try this again. I should have articulated my position better.
So, assuming that you aren't literally talking about a wardrobe malfunction, you are arguing that expressing misgivings about, say, the selection of michal Flynn as national security advisor, or stating opposition to Trump's plan to remove regulations on coal are examples of being immature? And, people should stand silently by while trump does what they believe wrong in the blind hope that all will come out well?
We should all just shut up. That about it?

That isn't maturity. It is the abdication of citizenship. And appallingly silly.
This country is not about becoming survile beasts.

Also, I'm supposed to believe that there wasn't criticism of the President elect's cabinet selections or ideas in December of 2008? That is not how I remember it.

Re: What Does "Get Over It" Mean?

One charge being floated about is that people are condemning Trump "Before he has done anything".

This is, of course, untrue. Trump has made many statements about how he will govern. He is in the midst of selecting his team of advisors and cabinet members. This speaks volumes about his policy goals. He has done something here. And Trump has named an extreme rightwardly leaning team of billionaires.
I am going to state my opposition to this.

As I have stated before, Trump is not the king.
Trump is a politician. A politician who,
Did not win my vote.
Did not win my state.
Did not win the most votes.

The new president will have many powers. Among these, you will Not find the power to command my silence or support. If Donald wants my support, and the support of the half of the country that did not vote for him, he must earn it. If he chooses to survive as a minority president, he must be prepared to deal with fierce opposition.
It is his job, his obligation to hear those who did not support him. It is his job, not mine to unite the country.
And, he hasn't done any uniting yet.

In conclusion, wear your undergarments as you will and speak your mind about this president, and this government. The country depends on it.
