Trump's "Landslide"

As Donald Trump takes his victory lap across the rust belt, The Siberian Candidate frequently refers to his victory as a landslide.

Here's how it ranks.
Even in 2016, Facts are stubborn things.

Trump’s Electoral College Victory

Ranks 46th in 58 Elections

By JUGAL K. PATEL and WILSON ANDREWS    DEC. 18, 2016

Members of the Electoral College will meet Monday to cast their votes for president. President-elect Donald J. Trump has claimed he won the electoral vote in a “landslide,” but he ranks below most presidents in the electoral vote and popular vote margins.

Mr. Trump won 30 states, gathering 306 of 538 electoral votes. There have been 45 presidential elections in which the winning candidate won a larger share of the electoral vote.

Mr. Trump trails in the popular vote by over 2.5 million votes as states continue to report final results. His deficit gives him the third-worst vote margin among winning candidates since 1824.

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

There are "Yogisms" and now "Trumpisms".

Yeah, it was a landslide or maybe a fault line.

Yes, correcting the record will be a full-time job during this presidency.

In addition to admiring Putin, Donald must also be a fan of Lenin who once said,
"A lie told often enough becomes the truth".
