As head of the world's most valuable oil company, Tillerson could be a controversial pick due to concerns about climate change and his ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
(which probably means Trump will pick him)

Tillerson, Trump & Putin can now be a threesome.

Might be a good time to start studying Russian

I don't know . . . But Tillerson has been at or near the helm of a mega global corporation for decades. And, everybody knows how Exxon-Mobile is very focused on customer relations and customer satisfaction, supplying quality products at reasonable prices (no price manipulation in the global oil business, right?) to all consumers, not gouging consumers by raising prices with no real market influenced changes, but making a boatload of money for Exxon-Mobile executives and wealthy insiders.
Based on his background, it's pretty clear who Rex is going to base his decision making priorities on . . . And it ain't the collective us.
Trump's cabinet selections thus far all fall into the same relative categories. Kinda like nominees for membership at Mar-A-Lago golf resort. I hope all the forgotten, down trodden, every man & woman that cast their vote for Trump will be happy with the elitest government he is establishing, cause you're going to have to live with it for at least the next four years.

Making the Wealthy Insiders Great Again !

Perhaps a segment of the population all misunderstood Trump when he campaigned to make "America" great again. No one would never realize he only meant making the rich richer. How naïve part of America was!

The Trump Presidency is based upon the premise that people who are really good at enriching themselves will be really successful at (and interested in) enriching the rest of us.
Let's see how it works out.
Hey, if that economic strategy fails, I'm sure we can abuse the usual scapegoats,,, Mexicans,, Muslims,,, the media,,,, Nasty women,, and keep the Angry People satisfied.

My concern with Tillerson doesn't lie in his big-business background, but I think the Senate sub-committee that will vote on his nomination really needs to delve into his connections with Russia and Putin and then grill him on those connections. If they don't find anything and he can answer the questions, I have no problem with him as Secretary of State. Condoleeza Rice and Robert Gates have come out in support of his nomination.

Exxon is a client of Rice's consulting firm

Yep--both Rice and Gates have connection to Tillerson.
