Looks like whipped puppy Pence may end governing the country and that's just a least as terrible as Trump.

I don't see the big deal over this particular endeavor. It's not like he has to physically do anything as the EP of the Apprentice. And while he would receive income from any profits the Apprentice makes, I don't see it being much different that President Obama receiving royalty checks from the books he wrote prior to becoming POTUS.
When it comes to Trump and conflicts of interest, there are bigger fish to fry.

A true Executive Producer is NOT a hands-off job. Maybe Trump will be hands-off, but then I am not sure why he would retain or want to retain the title of Executive Producer. I am more concerned the amount of time it would divert from the Presidency which IF done the way it should be is a 24 hr a day job.

It's a conflict of interest.
But, more than that another sign that trump does not fully understand or respect the presidency.
And it's another example of his normalizing the abnormal

From looking at the hard right cabinet appointments, I'm guessing that Pence already is running things.
Conway will simply say anything to support her master. I would say that she sold her soul, but that would mean that she had one in the first place.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is perplexed as to why President-elect Donald Trump will remain the executive producer of "The Celebrity Apprentice" during his time in the White House, calling it "weird."
Gingrich was asked about the subject during an appearance on Fox News' "Your World With Neil Cavuto" Friday afternoon.
"I think it's weird," Gingrich said, laughing. "It's weird. I don't think it's relevant. First of all, they're not going to pay him enough money to matter, if they're gonna pay him at all. If he's doing it pro-bono … He doesn't need his name in print.
"Donald J. Trump is going to be the executive producer of a thing called the American government. He's going to have this huge TV show called leading the world. He ought to just relax, give executive producer to Eric or Donald or to Ivanka, and keep moving forward."
