There's no such thing as ethics in politics. Hillary Clinton displayed that to the nation.

Ditto for Trump.

To a lesser degree.  Trump was up front with his thoughts, good or bad, and people voted for him.  Hillary was sneaky, relying on back-door, shady dealings to get her elected.

That is in the eye of the beholder.

Oh, I think that villifying Mexicans and Muslims with false information is an excellent example of unethical behavior.
It has nothing to do with Hillary Clinton. Trump started that well before he faced Clinton in the general election.
She does not determine whether ethics exists in politics. I don't understand how that conclusion was made.

It is interesting to note that you Trumpers despise Hillary Clinton for her supposed ethical lapses, yet you defend Donald Trump's actions by in effect stating that he is no worse than her.
Pretty faint praise. Shouldn't we expect him to be better?

Actually, I'm not a "Trumper", or at least what you think of as a Trumper.  I voted for Trump only because I didn't want Hillary Clinton in office, no other reason.  It is documented on here, if you want to dig through my posts to verify, that I stated early on that I don't want any more Clintons or Bushes in office.  Trump was the only choice to make sure that didn't happen.

I plan to vote for the challenger in 2020, unless Trump surprises me and does well.  I do like his cabinet picks so far, so he's off to a good start, but we'll see.  And that's also assuming the democrats don't nominate someone like Warren, Dean or Kanye West in the next election. 😂

Re: ‘Deplorables’ Comment Alienated Voters

I think it is still to early and emotions still too raw after the election to definitively say what "cost" Hillary the election.

Personally, I don't think it was the "deplorables" speech. I think that part of it was Trump had a extremely simple economic message that resonated with a large swath of the electorate combined with the fact that Hillary couldn't craft a message and deliver it in an authentic way that would create passion behind her candidacy combined with the fact that it's very hard for one party to get three terms in the White House.

I think you're going to see a lot of different United States of America over the next three, four, or eight years. - President Donald J. Trump

Agreed.
Exit poling showed Trump winning 83% of those ranking a need for "change" as important.
I think that the deplorables remark is an extremely minor player in this.
But, as I stated earlier, it fits nicely into a particular narrative

Agree also.

One thing for sure "change" is coming noting that change is not always a good thing.

Re: ‘Deplorables’ Comment Alienated Voters

When is everybody going to understand that Trump won the election?

Love him, or hate him, the election is over. There is no need to re-hash this thing. Let's get on with life.

Only time will tell if a Trump administration will be effective or a disaster.

Yea, you can affect some "Change" by sticking your hand in a blender, for instance.
