Kraft recalls 6.5 million boxes of mac and cheese!
NEW YORK (AP) — Kraft Foods is recalling about 6.5 million boxes cases of original flavor Kraft Macaroni & Cheese because some of the boxes contain small pieces of metal. The boxes have "best when used by" dates ranging from Sept. 18, 2015 through Oct. 11, 2015 and are marked with the code "C2." They were sold throughout the U.S., Puerto Rico, and in some countries in the Caribbean and South America.

Well, here we go ............. the government interferring with our lives by not allowing a little metal in our mac and cheese. Like we couldn't have found those pieces of metal without triggering a recall that Kraft Foods might find to be annoying and/or costly.

Thanks for sharing CS. Thanksfully the boxes we have (and used some of) were not part of the recall.
Do we really need to make everything some left/right political talking point?

Yea, this being the first time that's ever happened.

I don't know about a political talking point, but it sure does get frustrating when this kind of thing happens that can hurt people and children. Not too long ago Children's Tylenol was recalled for the same metal bits being in the product. Children's freakin' Tylenol!
It would be nice if, instead of them noticing after the fact, they could spend the money to do whatever needs to be done in their factories to ensure this doesn't keep happening. It certainly isn't new. But when you aren't made to do it by regulations that are enforced, it's cheaper to deal with it when it does happen rather then spend the money every day to keep it from happening.
It sucks and it's frustrating.
