Throughout our history, the minimum wage was raised something like 30+/- times. Maybe Donnie Smith could cite a time when raising the minimum wage resulted in a downturn in our economy and the Armageddon that some naysayers predict if we were to raise the minimum wage.  He will have scrape by making $5,800/hour for a few years.
