Another one Bites the Dust
Another Campaign Statement, that is.
Hey, the climate is not the only thing that is changing.
Donald Trump tweeted this two years ago:
"The concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese in order to make U.S. manufacturing non-competitive".
Today, in an interview with the NYT Trump stated:
There is some "connectivity" between human activity and climate change.
And, as for the Paris Climate accord that he was going to pull us out of:
“I’m looking at it very closely. I have an open mind to it."
I'm thinking that I might, umm,, warm to this guy.
I'll say this for Donald. He isn't a conservative.
Heck, he's barely a republican!

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

I don't hold out a lot of hope for environmental policy under Trump.
He will always favor big business over the environment.
He's a money guy.
But, he's not drunk the hard right kool-aid.
Trump said what he had to to get the victory.
Now, he's in the big leagues. And he does not want to appear stupid.
So, he will acknowledge the science.
