One more of Trump's proposals to see what we think.

I am guess "YES" although maybe not as big as initially proposed. ALL Congressmen seem to like to vote for giveaways for their constituents. I am not saying this is good considering I don't see where we will make up the shortfall which will lead to higher deficit, but merely commenting on how I see Congressmen reacting to the notion of tax cuts.

That's a pretty broad question since there are plenty of ways to classify something as a "tax cut".
I would think with the GOP generally in charge that there will be some tax cuts.
Trump did come out for the end of the carried interest loophole. That would seem to go against general republican orthodoxy. It'll be interesting to see how that works out.

Republican administrations have a history of cutting taxes and running up the deficit. When they are in charge we are told deficits don't matter ala Dick Cheney. When Dems are running the show, deficits are a big deal.
Reagan tripled the deficit, but eventually raised taxes more than a dozen times.
Bush borrowed money out the butt, ran a war off-budget, gave everyone a tax cut, threw it on the charge card, and in effect said to Obama, "Ok, I took us this far, now you can deal with it."
I'm guessing Trump will go down the Reagan Highway .......... Get elected as a Republican and govern like a Democrat.
