At least that's according to his latest E-mail missive he sent out today.
Scott is positively giddy over his re-election and the election of Donald Trump. He sees blue skies and money pouring out of the clouds with Trump's election. All we have to do is just get rid of all the regulatory agencies, because, once they're gone, U.S. corporations can operate without government interference. And, we all know, corporate executives always have the best interest of the people as their primary consideration . . . Right?
The only thing Perry and his 'freedom caucus' seem to be totally unaware of is the fact that Trump does not share much of their conservative agenda. Let's wait and see how happy they are with the direction of the Drumpf dynasty in a year or two.
Here's the text from Perry's e-mail. You have to be on the mailing list to get it with the snappy graphics.

America’s economy is the greatest in the world, but we're far from our potential—anemic growth, flat wages, and more than 94 million people out of the workforce. My House colleagues and I have a plan that caps the amount of regulatory costs Washington can impose on you and your family. We end needless delays of energy projects and pipelines, which means lower costs, more well-paying jobs and no more bailouts. Instead, we will reward people who work hard and do the right thing.
There's a better way, and it starts with getting government OUT of the way.
Affordable, reliable energy makes our lives—and our economy—better. It keeps our bills low, keeps jobs here at home, and keeps us secure in a dangerous world. Washington sees it differently: regulators act as if energy is primarily a source of pollution, not jobs or prosperity. They try to keep our resources in the ground, needlessly delaying projects for years and letting our energy infrastructure grow old. The House has a plan to cut through the clutter of the permitting process and accelerate the development of our infrastructure to secure reliable and affordable energy for years to come. Learn more about the plan here.

Yep, talk to the Sierra Club and The Wildlife Federation and other similar organizations to see how very concerned they all are once Trump & the Repubs get hold of environmental legislation and begin to rip it to shreds.

I hope the economy does great, but not for all the same reasons (ie-crippling the EPA for one)
