Obamacare sign-ups surge after Trump's election

It is such a terrible thing.

The costs are higher than anything else that they can find.

The folks signing up are hedging a bet that the rates will go lower through a reinstatement of pre-existing condition exclusions.

They need to get in NOW before such restrictions apply.

The ACA will not be repealed because it would be political suicide for Republicans to take away health insurance from those who do not have another way to get it and because there won't be a passable consensus on what to replace it with.

Wait a minute,,,
They aren't going to repeal the ACA?
Rudy says that they may not lock up Hillary.
Tim says that the wall isn't an actual wall ,,,,
That leaves the Muslim ban, bringing back coal mining, confronting 'Jina', and repealing Nafta.
What are the odds those things will survive the month?

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

What are the odds that the EPA--created by an Executive Order by Richard Nixon--will survive the year?

Destroying the EPA is something trump might actually do. It benefits big business.

So, you won't get the wall or the Muslim ban, but at least we'll have polluted air
