2 Iowa police officers killed; suspect in custody

I could have picked any of a number of recent cop killings and/or situations where a cop is placed in a life and death split second decision that is becoming more and more put in the spotlight. 

The question becomes then IF people shy away from this difficult job, what sort of environment will we then have ??  Kind of scary if you think about it.
