I see this splattered all over the place ............. a map of the USA with states colored blue or red.
Red all over and dominating the map.
What they don't show you is that a ginormous state like Montana has about one-third or less the population of a small state like Mass. or Conn. But, the smaller states (area-wise) might have 2 or 3 times the number of US citizens than a very big state like Montana, and therefore, 2 or 3 times the number of electoral votes.
I might add, for example, that Alaska's total voting population is equivalent to the voting population of York and Lancaster counties combined.
It's time to depict the entire country in various tints and shades of purple.

I came across such a map a couple of weeks ago....liked the concept so much that I saved the image to my hard drive but did not make note of the url.
