That's a sobering article.
We need to raise climate change up a few items on our list of national priorities.
We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

We (internationally) at minimum at least need to be spending much more money to understand just what is currently happening (such as this research) because this is NOT just a US problem IF the scientists are correct. As it appears to be a problem of global proportions we will need global acceptance and buy-in to come up with potential remedies.
