Predictions?
I hate to spike the ball in mid 4th quarter, but yea, his goose is cooked.
The question for me is how ridiculous does he get as frustrations mount, and does the GOP lose the Senate?

The "October surprise" is Trump himself and the GOP fracture.

Another great question is, what's next for the GOP?
The intellectual decay within the party has been going on for some time with nujobs like Limbaugh, Hannity, Alex Jones, etc getting an outsized role in the party's voice. Gutless legislators have followed suite.
Trump is just the logical end point of this disgraceful fall. Frankenstein has lost control of his monster.
So, where do thoughtful people with a philosophy of conservatism go?
Does the party fracture?

Actually if Hillary wins which looks might happen, I believe it will actually extend the life of the nutjob shows and with Ailes and Trump aligning there might even be a Trump network. It will go on till they all die. Fortunately, the "angry white men" moniker is somewhat true and as the general populous ages and dies off so too will SOME of that subset of America.

It's over. Progressives like me will focus on holding President Clinton's feet to the fire and follow through with platform issues in which Bernie Sanders helped to draft.

It's over but unless Trump's loss takes many of the Senate with him Hilliary will have no better time than did Obama getting an agenda thru Congress.

It is still a long time (politically anyway) till the elections as we have seen some pretty wide swings, but looking at how the GOP and Donald have imploded it looks like Hillary is likely the victor in November. There have been some pretty dramatic swings in the last couple of weeks with Florida, Ohio, and most recently Iowa now going into the Hillary column. It could be a blowout in the electoral college votes and closer in the actual vote (maybe a 5% spread as of now).
People have really been scratching their heads over just what Trump's endgame is. I am one of them. He keeps campaigning like he is still running in the primary and preaching only to his base. I am starting to think that is perhaps just exactly what he really wants and by doing so will establish himself along with deposed Ailes in a perhaps a new network or network show dedicated to the exact things that got his where he is today. It would be a Limbaugh on steroids. Limbaugh is kind of old news today and perhaps this would be the NEW news outlet for haters and fearmongers. Just my two cents on where this is going.
