Pence's Statement

“As a husband and father, I was offended by the words and actions described by Donald Trump in the 11-year-old video released yesterday,” Mr. Pence said. “I do not condone his remarks and cannot defend them.,,,,,,,,,, “I am grateful that he has expressed remorse and apologized to the American people. We pray for his family and look forward to the opportunity he has to show what is in his heart when he goes before the nation tomorrow night.”

Interesting that Pence alludes to the fact that the behavior is 11 years old, perhaps suggesting that time is a mitigating factor?
Other Trump defenders have mentioned this as well.

So, if Trump's sin is lessened by the fact the behavior occurred 11 years ago, does that mean that Bill Clinton's behavior is not relevant because it occurred a quarter of a century ago and,,,,,,,,,,,,, Bill isn't running this year?

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

Re: Pence's Statement

Interesting too that the Trump behavior we've seen so far in the campaign exemplifies the true character of this man.  The tape merely adds an I-told-you-so to it.
