Wanna Get Nuts? Ok, Let's Get Nuts

There's something new everyday with the Trumpster.  There's absolutely no evidence of this assertion, but hey, since when do facts and evidence matter?

Re: Wanna Get Nuts? Ok, Let's Get Nuts

in 2016 Paranoia sells very well to a subset of our population.

Fascinating, and dangerous. I mean, if this applied only to individuals with profoundly disturbed minds, it would be of little significance. But, this idiotic statement will no more disqualify Trump than did his statement that climate chnge is a world-wide hoax started by China. On the contrary, this guy is polling above 40%, and his fans will jump to his defense again, and again, as even more outlandish remarks escape his mouth.

Therefore, we must conclude that Paranoid fantasies and paranoid modes of expression are being accepted as true and appropriate by large numbers of more or less normal people.

Think about it.

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

Thank goodness Drumpf has the foresight to solicit his supporters to act as volunteer, although totally unauthorized, polling station monitors to thwart the efforts of anyone who doesn't look like "they belong" and attempts to vote. Hopefully their patriotic actions will prevent undocumented Islamic terrorists or illegals from Mexico from voting in this rigged election.

Re: Wanna Get Nuts? Ok, Let's Get Nuts

I have always wondered about people who buy into these things, and embrace these paranoid theories.
Do they really believe these things, or are the crazy "theories" code for something else?
Do they know, deep down, that this is complete BS, and just think that's how you talk in politics?

Does the average Birther, for instance, actually believe that Obama is a Kenyan born secret Muslim?
Or, is it just a way for an unsophisticated person  to express disapproval for the President?
Or is the Birther  argument just a dog whistle term for racism? "He's not one of us (white) so in my mind he's unfit to be my President"?

Does the paranoid person even care where a voter he sees with dark skin was born?
Isn't he really just saying that latinos are not really Americans in his mind even if they ARE citizens?
