“If you don’t do something about it, you’re gonna have taco trucks [on] every corner.”
We're all getting tacos, Baby!
Latino guest stuns MSNBC: Voting for Trump will prevent ‘taco trucks on every corner’
The founder of Latinos for Trump had MSNBC host Joy Ann Reid briefly taken aback during an interview on Thursday when he tried to portray Donald Trump as a protector of American culture.
“My culture is a dominant culture, and it’s imposing and it’s causing problems,” Marco Gutierrez said. “If you don’t do something about it, you’re gonna have taco trucks [on] every corner.”
“Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute,” Reid said, cutting him off. “I’m sorry. Hold on a second. I don’t know what that means and I’m almost afraid to ask.”
She then urged New York state Sen. Adriano Espaillat (D) — a formerly undocumented immigrant running for Congress — to respond to Gutierrez’s bizarre claim.
“I’m offended,” Espaillat quickly said, before Gutierrez intervened.
“I’ll tell you what that means — the Spanish never conquered Mexico,” he stated, incorrectly. “We have a culture that, we have a lot of good things that we bring to the United States. But we also have problems. You guys are going nuts over something, that there’s a 10th step to this problem. We haven’t even started down this path.”
“I don’t know what culture Mr. Gutierrez is talking about,” Espaillat replied. “But I know that the Hispanic culture has a saying — a very prominent saying: Mi casa, tu casa. ‘My house, your house.’ It is a tolerant culture. It is one that welcomes neighbors in. It is one that shares their culture, their music, their folklore. It is not an aggressive or bullying culture, as was displayed by Donald Trump and his 10-points that he laid out.”

Wow. The list of people we need to get rid of is getting longer and longer.
Once the war with Mexico begins (ten minutes after Trump is sworn in), how will deportation be handled?

I know that the election season always turns up the heat and brings out the crazy,,, but this year has broken all barriers.
I have run out of terms with which I can express incredulity!

I'll bet there are parts of the U. S. where there are already taco trucks on every corner and I say bring 'em on! Who doesn't love a good taco?

Well, you just knew that somebody would do the math.
, If Trump loses you are going to see a taco truck on every corner"
. That's good news for the economy in one way. If you assume that three people work in each truck, that's 9.6 million new jobs created. The labor force in August was 159.4 million, with 144.6 million employed. Adding 9.6 million taco truck workers would help America reach nearly full employment — and that's just the staffing in the trucks. Think about all of the ancillary job creation: mechanics, gas station workers, Mexican food truck management executives. We'd likely need to increase immigration levels just to meet the demand.

Hey, hey, hey ............. Some of the best tacos I ever had came from taco trucks! Also, any of you ever had Korean tacos? They could rival the Mexican variety. Picture all 4 corners of every intersection across America with a taco truck on each corner. Yum yum.

Of course, it's all just cultural fear-mongering, designed to appeal to those terrified by a changing America.
