Our Depleted military?
The U.S. spends more on its military than the next ten countries combined.
Say anything.
Know nothing.

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

Re: Trump vows to 'rebuild' military,

For someone who claims to be such an "outsider" to politics, he sure parrots the same boilerplate GOP talking points a lot.

I think you're going to see a lot of different United States of America over the next three, four, or eight years. - President Donald J. Trump

Re: Trump vows to 'rebuild' military,

Is Drump going to rebuild our military before or after he spends 10 billion building that wall?

Re: Trump vows to 'rebuild' military,

This really is a pet peeve of mine --

I know when it comes to politics you need to dumb things down a lot so you can have simple soundbites, but why can't people running for office at least try and throw some vague specifics to their audience.

For example, we know that the military, doesn't need to be "rebuilt" as a whole. But I am sure there are portions of the DOD that could be modernized, fixed up, or reorganized.

For example, aren't our nuclear launch facilities still running off of 5 1/2 inch floppy disks out of rusted holes in the ground? Say we're modernize our nuclear defense capabilities. Is that so hard?

Re: Trump vows to 'rebuild' military,

To argue that our military is depleted is a naked pitch to fear. I wouldn't expect any specifics.
