Trump Decides that Black Lives Matter, in a Way
About 5 days ago Donald Trump had an epiphany. The Real estate Tycoon discoverd black people.
Yep, the original birther, and guy who wouldn't speak before black business or community groups is now going to solve "inner-city" AKA black problems. But, the thing is, Trump is delivering his inclusive message to audiences that are almost entirely white. Hey, I always thought that if you wanted to speak to the black community, that you would actually speak to black people.
But, here's the thing. Trump has no interest in winning the black vote. This is all a scam. It is an effort to reassure white voters who don't like Clinton, but have major moral qualms about voting for Trump. He's saying. "look at me. I'm not really a racist. I'm trying sooo hard to reach "them". It's OK to vote for me'".

IF he REALLY cared about blacks he would have visited Detroit vs Dimondale which is (as noted) an almost totally white community.

Trump decried what "Democratic rule" has done to our inner cities.
Fair enough, let's look at that.
Let's also look at the poorest counties in America.
Of the 15 poorest counties in America, 13 are in Congressional districts controlled by republicans.
We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

I think that it is only fair, if one asks people to change parties, to show them your own record.
