As a woman I must agree with Lager's comments.  It saddens me to see Kathleen Kane destroy her political career and more importantly, her opportunity to practice in her legal profession.  I'm hopeful she's given at least a sentence of public service to help the less fortunate.  Even though she will be unable to practice law she still maintains the knowledge of the law and able to do so much good.

I don't think she damaged her political career.  With this on her record, a serious run for President is right up her ally, in this day and age.

Re: 10 unbelievable revelations from the Kathleen Kane trial

That was odd.
Has there ever been a successful candidate for president to run after being convicted of perjury
And obstruction?
Are you suggesting that a conviction for perjury would enhance a run for the presidency?
Please elaborate

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

I think we can assume the Man was being sarcastic.

OK. Thanks. I'm up to speed.
So, if I see Kane being accused of being the founder of ISIS, I'll know what's up.

I'll predict that Kane's political career is over.

So, who is going to replace her?

Her second in command. His name is Bruce Castor, who was the District Attorney for Montgomery County, a suburb of Philadelphia, and who is probably best known for deciding to not prosecute Bill Cosby back in 2005 when he was accused of sexual assault of a Temple University woman's basketball coach.

Gov. Wolf could appoint a temporary replacement.

The position is up for election this fall and pits Dem Josh Shapiro, a Montgomery County Commissioner against John Rafferty, a former State Senator. Shapiro is likely to win.

Re: 10 unbelievable revelations from the Kathleen Kane trial

Bruce Castor has been sworn in.

Pennsylvania no longer bears the mark of Kane.
