After Donald Trump suggested that "2nd Amendment People" Might murder Hillary Clinton or some judges, I don't know, I was treated to the spectacle of a parade of Trump apologists coming on TV and telling me that I did not hear what I heard.
Perhaps the worst was Rep Duncan Hunter. His excuse was, basically, we can't take Trump's remarks literally because Trump isn't intelligent enough to speak clearly.
UN-believable.

"we can't take Trump's remarks literally because Trump isn't intelligent enough to speak clearly."
Now there's a ringing endorsement for a presidential candidate.

Trump isn't intelligent enough to speak clearly.
Let me get this straight ................. This guy is defending and making excuses for Trump's rhetoric because he thinks Trump isn't intelligent enough to speak clearly, but that shouldn't be a reason to disqualify him as a potential president of the USA? Is that about right?
Wow! Clinton needs to use this guy's reasoning in a campaign ad.

Pretty sure we're going to see a massive landslide win for Clinton.

What amazed me is that it took this long for many to come out of the wood work and denounce the man and his his rhetoric.

I've noted that Trump supporters say " I like him because he says exactly what he means."
But then they spend weeks responding to things Trump has said by saying, "well, he didn't really mean that."
Go figure
