Whoopsies!
The North Carolina Republican Party thought it had caught Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine in a major lapse of performed patriotism Wednesday night, but they embarrassed themselves, not Kaine. The state party tweeted an attack on Kaine for supposedly wearing a pin featuring the Honduran flag while not wearing an American flag pin.
“[Tim Kaine] wears a Honduras flag pin on his jacket but no American flag,” the state party tweeted as he was speaking. “Shameful.”
But, there's one problem:
That's a Blue Star Service pin for his son, who's a deployed Marine.

Boy, it's just one thing after another with these bozos. Not only that, but the two flags don't even resemble eachother.

What did they think? That this guy is a secret Honduran agent who was too stupid to hide his flag when giving an address at the DNC? Or do they really believe the crap they say about Democrats and Patriotism?
