I under estimated Senator Sanders. Bernie is a class act.
Does he have them programmed so that they'll just fall in line and do what he says though? Based on his speech earlier, I don't think so.
And how much is Hillary paying Bernie? Just a couple of months ago Bernie himself claimed (rightfully so) that Hillary is totally unqualified to serve as president, now he supports her even after proof has come out that the primaries were rigged for Clinton? This just doesn't make any sense, unless he is receiving a large payday from this.
In any case, Bernie has now shown himself to be a man with no principles.

So instead of the disgraced DWS gaveling the start of the DNC, they go with a woman who should be in prison for encouraging and inciting riots in her own city, Stephanie Rawlings-Blake. The DNC has got to be freaking kidding me?!?!

Relating to the post from "The Man" about his supporters falling line, fivethrityeight.com had a good analysis of Bernie's supporters and how Hillary will probably have a hard time in getting the 1/3rd of his supporters who don't currently support to back her. Here it is:
With the DNC email story fitting in with the narrative that "the system is rigged" that many Bernie supporters believe, it is going to be a tough road for Clinton considering many are not traditional Democrats, not as likely to vote and more likely to support Trump based on the analytics.

And then there's this little diddie from today:
I can't even wrap my head around this. Bernie Sanders, who all along has complained that the system is rigged, is going to join the woman who rigged the system against him to help take on the rigged system??? Do I have that right? There is all kinds of crazy in this.

You seem pretty emotional about this.
Big Bernie supporter?

Not emotional at all, just trying to make sense of it. Can you explain it to me?

If you don't mind, I'd like to try and explain it as well.
Just like Ted Cruz last week at the RNC convention, Bernie is doing what he thinks is best for Bernie. Ted Cruz wasn't standing on principle, he could have done that by not speaking. He did that speech last week because he thought it would help him win the GOP nomination in 2020 and his personal beef with Trump.
Sanders is doing this because he was fading away quickly after Hillary won the nomination and wants back in. He initially held out his support for her and Elizabeth Warren stepped right in as the voice of progressives backing Hillary and people stopped paying attention to Bernie. He knows if he wants any influence if Hillary wins the election, he has to "play the game" and "support the team".

Good summarization Brady, makes sense, thanks!
I still don't understand the part where Bernie is going to join the rigger of the system in order to take on the rigged system. How does that work? Anyone care to take a stab at explaining that one?

Of course, that is how politics (and dealing outside of politics for that matter) works. There is a reason why things like "office politics" are called that.
