Bernie Sanders Campaign Chief Says Someone Must Be 'Accountable' for What DNC Emails Show
Bernie Sanders campaign manager Jeff Weaver said his team was "disappointed" by the emails from the Democratic National Committee leaked through WikiLeaks, which seemed to reveal staff in the party working to support Hillary Clinton."Someone does have to be held accountable,"
Weaver said during an interview with ABC News. "We spent 48 hours of public attention worrying about who in the [Donald] Trump campaign was going to be held responsible for the fact that some lines of Mrs. Obama's speech were taken by Mrs. Trump. Someone in the DNC needs to be held at least as accountable as the Trump campaign."
Weaver said the emails showed misconduct at the highest level of the staff within the party and that he believed there would be more emails leaked, which would "reinforce" that the party had "its fingers on the scale."
"Everybody is disappointed that much of what we felt was happening at the DNC was in fact happening, that you had in this case a clear example of the DNC taking sides and looking to place negative information into the political process.

Just in time for the DNC convention. Sanders supporters have good reason to be
incensed and then throw in Kane as VP. Boom! Like throwing gas on a fire.

This is just proof of what anyone who was paying attention knew, that the DNC was "in the bag" for Clinton and they were going to do anything to make sure she won the primary.
It will be interesting to see how this will play out with Sanders supporters who begrudgingly were supporting her or were thinking of supporting her. Will this confirm their thoughts the system was rigged and make them stay home, vote for Trump or vote for a 3rd party?

Now they aren't even going to have the DNC chair, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz speak at the convention because of this. That is probably a smart move since it would have been almost guranteed that Bernie's delegates would have booed her off the stage like Cruz was booed at the Republican convention

One of the most poorly kept secrets in history.
There will be no war in Philadelphia.
Bernie's getting a deal on super delegates and schultz's exclusion.
The deal was made before this was released

It may effect some Bernie supporters who thought that the DNC favoring Clinton gave him a raw deal, but the fact is that without Bernie registering as a Democrat he would not have had a chance nationally. Bernie's jump into the Democrat fray was well calculated. He is more of an Independent (which is a GOOD thing) than anything else.

I think that we can start the Debbie Wasserman Schultz death watch now.
It won't be long.

Pretty much she is toast. That the DNC favored Clinton was neither a shock or well hidden. Personally I don't think the DNC ever considered Bernie a real Democrat. In a way they are right about that. Bernie had his chance. He did well especially with the young contingent. Unfortunately his day is now over. It would be good if the Democrat party could find a good candidate to appeal to all age groups.
Maybe one good thing that might come out of all of this is looking at the superdelegates. I would like to see a candidate pretty much just nominated on popular vote. Even in that case Clinton would have won 57% to Bernie's 43%.

From Day #1, it was a really a bad idea to have Debbie Wasserman Schultz as the chair of the DNC since she was the campaign manager for Clinton in '08. Many of us said that months ago. I hope she is toast.

Just in: she's gone.
Saw Bernie on cnn, he is staying on board with Clinton.
It's just about over
