Say What?

Ivanka's speech sounds like she confused her father with Hillary Clinton.

"He will fight for equal pay for equal work and I will fight for this too, right alongside of him,"

"As President, my father will change the labor laws that were put in place during a time in which women were not a significant part of the workforce and will focus on making quality childcare affordable and accessible for all,"

I'm just gonna ask, has anyone here ever heard Mr. Trump endorse these ideas?
If I go to his website will I see anything like this?

When I go to the Trump site, I see a tab labeled "Issues"
What is listed is;
"Pay for the Wall"
"Healthcare Reform"
US- China Trade reform"
"Veterans care reform"
"tax Reform"
"Second Amendment Rights"
"Immigration Reform"
and,,,,,, well that's it.

Maybe the GOP platform has something about daycare and equal pay?

Well, here is your answer

Trump Hotel Slapped With Labor Fines

settlement was announced today between Trump International Hotel Las Vegas and the National Labor Relations Board, adding to the multitude of citations, liens, judgments and lawsuits against Donald Trump and his real estate empire for failing to pay employees and contractors, and for other unfair labor practices.

An investigation by USA Today in June revealed that Trump has been sued at least 60 times for failure to pay employees and contractors for their work. The employees ranged from waiters at his resorts to real estate brokers selling his properties–even law firms that represented him in these very suits. Trump companies were cited for 24 violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act since 2005. Trump, his companies or his properties have faced more than 200 official claims by contractors and employees since the 1980s. Many of the contractors were small, family-owned businesses.

“Every day I wake up determined to deliver for the people I have met all across this nation that have been ignored, neglected and abandoned. … These are people who work hard but no longer have a voice, “I am your voice.”
Donald Trump

It would be funny if it didn't make me so damned angry!

Re: Say What?

Add to it the info I had posted earlier about how he deals with small contractors working on his projects. It is called the "Trump Discount".  It is basically a shut up and take it or leave it deal.
