The Republican Party is reportedly moving to declare internet pornography a "public health crisis"under an amendment that was added to its platform draft at preliminary meetings this week in Cleveland. The party's national convention is next week.
Do you think it will actually make it into the platform ?
Do you think this is a smart thing or not to include in a National Election platform ?

It has absolutely no relevance to the nation's problems.
But, I guess it will make a certain demographic happy. So, while useless, it probably helps get the bible belt riled up.

Have no idea whether it will be a plank in the platform?
But really once the convention is over will it make a difference.
It might satisfy a group within the RNC.
Seems to me there are many more pressing problems?

Tennyson, does the GOP suggest some course of action?

Guess we will have to wait and see. The only other info that was detailed was a link in the article I posted.
See below.
GOP platform draft declares pornography 'public health crisis'
(I don't see anything in the above other than what a lot of institutions are already doing which it seems is not something that only the GOP would support. It looks more like a marketing plank that has no more substance than what is alreaady being done to curb predators, etc)
