I think the caption under the first picture captures this election perfectly: Julie Downey, 18, working at a Mediterranean bistro in St. Clair Shores, Mich., plans to vote for Donald Trump but said choosing between him and Hillary Clinton “is like finding the shiniest turd.”
This will be an interesting year and many states that are not normally in play for both sides might be close and switch sides.

I dunno. A Washington post poll has Hillary up by 12,
And a WSJ poll has her up by 5.
A stunning 64% say trump is unqualified for the office.
Are we seeing some wishful thinking here?

And what would I be wishing for? I have clearly stated numerous times I will not vote for either Hillary or Trump.
That same WSJ poll only hs her up one point in a 4 way race with Johnson and Green included. State polls are more important than national polls, and in many key swing states (and some not so normal swing states) Hillary has a much smaller lead or is losing. This will be a fascinating election year that could turn out to be very different from what we have seen the last 30 years.

Funny thing I have been told time after time that polls don't mean much when I post a poll that shows Trump ahead. But when they show Hillary ahead. Katie bar the door..... Hillary is ahead.
Just wondering how that works?

The one not really engaging in many states is Trump. Clinton's ground game is head and shoulders better than what Trump has mustered thus far. Perhaps his new advisor can straighten this out.
Trump is WAY to tied down to promoting his own interests IMHO.

I was surprised by poll numbers in traditionally "safe" states like PA and MI.
But, by the time that November rolls around, those states will have gotten plenty of attention and engagement by team Clinton. So, I think that ultimately the numbers improve.
Time will tell.
