The "LIST"

“We hold these truths to be self-evident,”  former vice president Biden said during a campaign event in Texas on Monday. "All men and women created by — you know, you know, the thing.”

Re: The "LIST"

Under, "Just for fun"? Seriously?

Anyway, I guess that rep Lewis was willing to forgive some slight inconvenience on his part because he believed in the greater good, and was willing to be patient while the problems were sorted out.

What kind of person would try to use that selflessness against the man?

And, "What Congressman Lewis won't tell you"???
BS!
Congressman Lewis' own office was the first to publicly announce that the congressman had been erroneously placed on the list. Look it up! *
Is there no honesty, no sense of decency on the right? Do they have no reluctance to lie?
The crowd here is a little too quick for people to play fast and loose with the facts.

By the way, John Lewis was on that bridge in Selma. If he thinks using the no fly list is ok, I will take that American hero's word for it over some anonymous poster on the Internet any day of the week and twice on Sundays

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

Re: The "LIST"

All that tells me is he is convinced it is the right thing to do despite its flaws. Flaws CAN be fixed. Dead people from attacks not so much.

Re: The "LIST"

Apparently the GOP is more interested in keeping people from voting than restricting terrorists from buying weapons. Great !

Re: The "LIST"

Strange.

They look like grown-ups.

If you make yourself miserable trying to make others happy that means everyone is miserable.

Re: The "LIST"

I support what they did.
When public support for things like expanding background checks hovers around 90%, and the House and Senate refuse to act on it,,, well it's time to embrace the unconventional.

Many did not care for John Lewis that day on the bridge either. But sometimes the situation calls for civil disobedience.
