Sanders: 'The Dem Convention will be a contested convention'

It looks like Bernie will not be going gently into that good night

Fantasy island

We live in a time in which decent and otherwise sensible people are surrendering too easily to the hectoring of morons or extremists.

Re: Sanders: 'The Dem Convention will be a contested convention'

A big part of the problem is the way Sanders has been treated. Dems treating him with no respect.
Acting as though he never had a chance. The media was in hyper drive over the republicans having a contested convention.
Lets see how excited they are now that it's the dems who will be fighting.

Clinton Has 45-To-1 'Superdelegate' Advantage Over Sanders.

Clinton has a huge lead in the popular vote and in the Pledged delegates.

Nuttiness.  Bernie will concede.  He will continue to promote his progressive agenda.  Democratic tribal mucky-mucks will listen and pay attention so they can signup future tribal members while the R-Tribe will try court new members by telling us how swell Ronald Reagan was and promising to return America to the days of "Ozzie and Harriet" and 'Pleasantville, USA.'  Young people won't know what the hell they are talking about and won't give a rat's carcass.

Re: Sanders: 'The Dem Convention will be a contested convention'

I've never seen so many people  (not you Fred) disingenuously cheering for a candidate that they would hate under any other circumstances, than their hate for a woman.
It's really creepy.

Kind of a point that Bernie does not want to mention too much !

The ONLY reason that Bernie has gotten as far as he has this year is the fact that he side-stepped running as an Independent (which in my mind he really is) to take advantage of not having to do the work to get setup nationally. His decision to become a Democrat was actually to take advantage of them. His claiming poor me is really not working for me.

When do you think he will concede?  It appears from his own words and statements that he is taking this all the way to the convention.

Re: Sanders: 'The Dem Convention will be a contested convention'

How will the convention be "contested" if Clinton has the delegates needed to win the nomination?
I don't get it.
